Choices Group

Since 1989, Choices Group has been the primary treatment provider for the Clark County Drug Courts, and it is now the third-largest Drug Court in the nation. We approach substance abuse treatment with a distinct philosophy of wellness. Positive reinforcement, sanctions and judicial oversight are tools used to motivate changes in negative behaviors. Our model requires clients to plan ahead, looking forward to a bright future rather than focusing on their past. We are frequently called upon to provide assistance to other Drug Courts across the U.S. and serve as a mentor treatment court training site for the National Association of Drug Court professionals. Choices Group was also selected by the U.S. Department of Justice as a national evaluation site.

Through our treatment model, our programs address early recovery issues, wellness education, relapse and recovery, and transitional education and groups. Treatment includes drug testing, counseling, wellness treatment, educational assistance, vocational training, and job placement. The Drug and DUI Court Judges, Public Defenders, District Attorneys, Probation Officers, child welfare workers, and treatment providers work together to monitor the progress of the client.
